Tonight our neighborhood pal, Andy Mueller, is showing some of his luscious photos from his travels here and there and down the street at Fred Segal in Santa Monica… yes, Fred Segal. Andy is dope. He does everything and he does it well. From skateboard graphics, photoshoots and his own label, The Quiet Life. He also has a great piece in our these friends show right now. Come out to SAMO tonight and say hi.
Andres Guerrero has put the finishing touches on his new gallery tucked in the Mission up in SF. Andres cut his teeth in the gallery world over in the Tenderloin with White Walls Gallery and Justin Girala. Now moving on, Guerrero Gallery is amazing. It’s a 3,000 square foot venue with high vaulted ceilings and skylights and 12 foot walls throughout. This seems like the perfect space where Andres can focus on the development and careers of some of the artists he has struck a bond with over the years. Andres is an incredibly easy going and like-able guy from the very first time you meet him. So its easy to see how he has assembled such a strong ensemble for this first show. The line-up includes Brian Willmont, Christopher Russell, Richard Colman, Aaron Noble, Ryan Scott Shaffer, Tim Diet, Ryan Wallace, Rogelio Martinez, Adam 5100, Hilary Pecis, Mark Mulroney, Ala Ebtekar, Eric Yahnker, AJ Fosik, Mike Lesage, Allister Lee, Cleon Peterson, Ryan Travis Christian, Marissa Textor, Shepard Fairey and Bill McRight.
The first opening is slated for this Saturday, March 6th, 7-11pm.

This pal Travis Millard has a new website up. Stop by and see his drawing he did for our “These Friends” show this week. It’s pretty, pretty fucking awesome!
Fudge Factory.
This Friday, our pals at Secret Service and Deus Ex Machina are having a party. It’s worth going just to check out their new space in an old firehouse downtown. Cars, clothes, and motorcycles.
For our first opening this Friday, the good folks at RVCA have helped us out (with the huge price tag it takes to start a place) by printing us a limited edition t-shirt designed by LA based artist and This pal Mel Kadel . The shirts are limited to 200, printed on White. They are RVCA shirts so you know the quality is great. We’ll be selling them at the opening and online here. $20. Thanks Mel! Thanks RVCA! Thank You for supporting THIS!

This agent Justin Van Hoy and This pal Blake E. Marquis have a two man show that opens tomorrow night at Space 1026 in Illadelphia. If you are within 1000 miles make sure you get there.

We just got an email from THIS pal Jason Lee alerting us to a teaser video he made of a longer documentary he made for the band Midlake. In his words “It’s a beautiful record, and I was happy to lug the old Bolex cameras out to Denton and capture the band and their world.
I hope you’ll all find your way to the new record…”
