Our homies over on Fairfax, Buddy and Charno of
Six Stair have launched up their new blog with so much content. These fools are the kings of pool riding and amazing skate docs like Deathbowl to Downtown, Tent City, Fruit of the vine, etc. etc. etc. etc.. Look for some overlap with them in near future…

This pal Travis Millard has a new website up. Stop by and see his drawing he did for our “These Friends” show this week. It’s pretty, pretty fucking awesome!
Fudge Factory.
This Friday, our pals at
Secret Service and
Deus Ex Machina are having a party. It’s worth going just to check out their new space in an old firehouse downtown. Cars, clothes, and motorcycles.
For our first opening this Friday, the good folks at
RVCA have helped us out (with the huge price tag it takes to start a place) by printing us a limited edition t-shirt designed by LA based artist and This pal
Mel Kadel . The shirts are limited to 200, printed on White. They are RVCA shirts so you know the quality is great. We’ll be selling them at the opening and online here. $20. Thanks Mel! Thanks RVCA! Thank You for supporting
THIS!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our inaugural opening night last Friday. It got pretty crowded in here but it was a fun time for sure. We will now be open with our regular gallery hours Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12-6PM and by appointment. Thanks to
Boxed Water,
Pabst,
Vita Coco,
Monster Children, and especially
RVCA for all your help. We still have t-shirts available online and will be stocking tons of books, ‘zines, clothes, skateboards, DVDs, etc at the space… so stop by. The photos are a little heavy on the famousnessers, sorry about that. That’s what happens when you give the camera to an intern fresh off the boat from Australia.
More photos of the opening after the jump.

We are open again tonight from 7-10PM for the
NELA Art Walk.
I don’t think it will be as busy as it was last night. Thanks for the party last night people, it was amazing how many people came out. Stop by tonight and we can actually talk.
Take the train! Ride your bike! Or take your car if you wanna. After you come by here make sure you walk up the street to
Mr. T’s Bowl to catch our good friend Travis (Piebald) play with his new band
TS and the Past Haunts. SEE YOU THERE/HERE.
We asked our buddy
Geoff the 4 simple questions. He has some original drawings in our inaugural show, you should check it out.
-How and what was your last meal,
Vegetable soup and bread
-Describe your workspace in two words,
light filled
-Last person you gave a hug to,
my daughter Phoebe
-Who’s the next person you are going to talk to,
the guy who works at Box Brothers in Atwater
